Hi. I’m Nic Peterson. 

These pages are always weird, I’m not much for talking about myself and, let’s be honest, we all know these are written in third person by the person they are about. I’m going to take a page out of my good friend Dr Kashey’s book and just write this like we’re getting to know each other. 

Because that’s what this should be. 

As I’m writing this in my third decade, to some that makes me young. To others, I’m basically ancient, and I split my time, mostly, between Seattle, Washington and Lake Forest, California. 

I have two puppies that aren’t really puppies anymore, they’re half siberian husky and half arctic wolf. In case you were wondering, they like the Seattle weather much more than the So Cal Weather. 

You’re probably still wondering something like:

 “why am I here?” or “Am I in the right place?”

My answer to almost every question is the same:

“It depends”

But if you came from the internet there is a good chance you are not in the right place and I do not deserve your full attention right now. 

Here’s Why:

#1: I WILL NOT SHOW YOU ANY GET RICH QUICK TACTICS

For some reason, people think that “get rich quick” and “being happy” are synonymous. They aren’t.

I can see the allure, and that’s why I ended up going down the “internet marketing” black hole.

Turns out, the synergy between your personality, the nuances of business and the intricacies of your personal life are quite finicky, tactics to try and “trick” one of them can destroy the others. 

Some quick fix tactics are useful, but there is still a ton of work to be done, mostly in changing the way you think about these things. 

So if you’re not prepared to commit to changing the thinking that got you “here”, I’m not the guy for you. 

#2:  IF YOU’RE NOT CLEAR ON WHAT YOU’RE OPTIMIZING FOR YOU’RE NOT GOING TO LIKE MY STUFF

Humans default to “more” as being the answer. More money. Bigger staff. More sales. Etc etc. 

Sometimes more if the answer, but more is the easy part. The hard part if “closer”. Closer to the things that actually matter to you. 

More sales, bigger contracts and more employees could, for example, get you further away from taking weekends off. If taking weekends off to spend more time with your family is a priority, than in this case “more” is getting you further away. 

“More” feels good in the moment, until it doesn’t. 

If you’re not clear on what you’re actually optimizing for, go elsewhere. There are millions of programs out there that show you how to get “more” of a thing. I’m really just interested in helping you lock in the best life for yourself. 

If it’s a surprise to you that those are very different things, you’re not ready to talk. 

#3: IF YOU ARE EXPECTING “EASY STREET” I DONT WANT TO HELP YOU

Let me be clear, here:

I probably CAN help you. I just don’t want to. Therefore, I refuse to do it.

Why?

Because we just met and you’re already asking for the easy way. I translate that into “I’m not interested in playing the long game and I don’t care if my business/life is standing on thin ice”

Building a business that gives you everything you want in life is often easier than most people are making it on themselves, but if you’re averse to work you’re kinda screwed anyway. 

It’s always much simpler than anyone wants you to believe. But it’s not always “easy”. Hard work will need to be done. If that scares you, go back to Facebook. Someone will promise you an easy way out over there. 

SO WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS HERE?

Full disclosure: This website is mostly a placeholder for people that search my name. Each of my companies has its own website with a more specific purpose. Here, you’re just going to get:

  • Free stuff that you can access and use immediately, for free. Sometimes you’ll get
  • Pitched to buy something. 

If you don’t have interest in buying anything from me, that’s fine. The free stuff is still free, but I am here, primarily to help people get closer to the things that actually matter to them, and that requires a time commitment on my part. 

Also, I have two giant puppies to feed, and this is how I feed them. 

Again, if you’re not sure if you want to buy anything from me, that’s perfectly fine. Just poke around and read my stuff. It will help you IF YOU IMPLEMENT IT. 

HOW I AM DIFFERENT

This one is easy. I’m not an expert. 

Experts, by design, have to adopt a specific paradigm to operate the level and granularity that they do. The problem? They often miss the forest for the trees.

Don’t get me wrong, some of the top experts in the world are friends, partners and clients of mine, but they often run into the same roadblock: They need to be technically correct. 

And that is where I am different. 

I don’t care as much about being “technically correct” (that’s what I surround myself with experts for). Instead, I am concerned entirely with saying the thing the way it needs to be said to get YOU to understand it, connect with it and modify your behavior accordingly. 

You know, being helpful instead of being right. Turns out there is a big difference. 

HERE IS WHAT I WILL HELP YOU WITH SPECIFICALLY:

My priority is to help you transform your business and your life by, basically, reprogramming your brain to change your business through personalized strategy”

It’s basically the promised land of “success” (as defined by you). 

I also prioritize your “intervention efficacy”, another fancy phrase I’m “borrowing” from Dr. Kashey. It’s a fancy of saying: “Even though you’re getting results and you’re happy, we are always analyzing what’s going on to get you better results and make you happier”

I do this by showing you how to approach your personal business growth. 

IMPORTANT: Cookie cutter programs do not work. The level of success you achieve will depend entirely on how aligned your pursuits (and business model) stay aligned with your unique disposition. 

In a program already? Have a coach already? Be warned: If it doesn’t feel right, that’s because it’s probably not.
